Initial shedding of telogen hair may occur, which is a sign of hair entering the anagen (growth) phase.
This is a temporary, normal reaction and consistent use is recommended.

Modunarol is an external hair loss treatment containing 5% Minoxidil, approved for male use only according to the license. Therefore, women cannot use it.

Learn about male pattern baldness Learn about male pattern baldness

Male pattern baldness is a condition in which hair gradually thins and falls out due to genetic factors and male hormones. Normal hair grows by repeating the anagen-catagen-telogen phases, but as male pattern baldness progresses, male hormones (especially DHT, dihydrotestosterone) act on the hair follicles, shortening the anagen phase and lengthening the telogen phase. As a result, hair cannot grow sufficiently and gradually thins, and hair loss begins and gradually progresses from both sides of the forehead (M-shaped hair loss) and the crown.
Normal Hair
Thick and healthy hair
Hair Loss Progressing
Follicle atrophy, shorter growth phase
longer resting phase

hair loss, etc.

Minoxidil acts on the scalp to increase blood flow and activate hair follicles. Through this, it prolongs the anagen phase of hair growth and reduces telogen hair, suppressing hair loss progression. Features such as promoting hair growth and improving hair thickness and density can be expected with continuous use.

For hair loss, early care is most important.* Therefore, if hair loss is progressing or suspected, immediate consultation with a specialist is required. Additionally, when using hair loss treatments, it is recommended to only use products approved by the MFDS.
